Today marks the end of classes for the school year 2012-2013 but the school year hasn't come to an end yet. Next week, all classes will have to take final exams which are compulsory and free of charge. So, as you may realise, it's been a hectic week at work. I had to prepare the final exam papers, teach in the afternoon and do office work in the morning.. Then in June, I have some extra classes for the students who have enrolled to Cambridge ESOL Examinations in addition to marking exam papers, issuing results and completing the Final Reports which will be sent to my students by the end of June.
Alkis also has a lot of work these days and we hardly see each other during the day. But after a long day at work, we often go for a walk at the beach and contemplate the sunset. The sunset in Larnaca takes my breath away. It helps me relax and look forward to yet another new day - it's the promise of the dawn. I guess sunsets are magical regardless of where you live. They are inspiring and can reduce stress to a great extent. Sunrises can be just as inspiring and relaxing if you can get up at the crack of dawn!
I see that you are very busy now with the final exams but I'm sure you will soon be enjoying your summer holiday and many more beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

The most fascinating sunset I've ever watched was a few summers ago while on vacation in santorini. It just took my breath away! Just like your picture!

I am the romantic type so I really enjoy a glorious sunset. I like watching the way so many shades of pink and orange as the sun slowly disappears. There is so much magic in Nature.

Early in the morning before work, I go for a jog at the beach and a swim. The sunrise from there is truly magical!

In Cyprus I had the pleasure to stand in awe and watch speechless some of your great sunsets - especially in Limassol and Pafos. Now I see that the sunset in Larnaca is just as beautiful.

What a beautiful photo of the sunset! In Canada you can enjoy some really spectacular sunsets but they are very different from the ones on the Greek islands. I love them both, anyway!!! Happy end of school year!
