I blog for pleasure, yet I do care about your comments and, most importantly, it means a lot to me to interact with you, to exchange views or simply communicate. To me this is the essence of blogging. Do you blog? Why do you blog? What do you expect from blogging?
I love the image you used, lol. Blogging to me is a therapeutic tool, and it's actually a LOT cheaper than my therapist, lol

I have been blogging for almost 5 years and enjoying it very much but I have taken a long break recently mostly due to lack of free time especially since I started working on my business blog and trying to set it up.. I blog because I like to share my thoughts with the rest of the world. I also find it a very relaxing and creative hobby.

I blog on political issues ocasionally and rather infrequently. Most of my blogs are informative but I also expect to raise awareness on different political matters internationally.

I started blogging 4 years ago but there was a time when I gave it up because it was no longer a pleasure and somehow I lost interest. But since I restarted on Typepad, I've started to enjoy it again. I don't expect anything really - it's just a personal fun activity in my free time.

Buonasera Anastasia. Ha ha ha! I love this cartoon. Is very funny!

I blog for a long time and enjoy it very much. What I expect? A real communication between my readers, an exchange of views, opinions, experiences - I mean an interaction between my readers and me. Blogging for me is a kind of community we build online.

I’ve only been blogging for a year or so. I started the blog to begin to expand my use of technology and to write about nonprofit issues. The purpose was networking, getting former clients to know I’m back in the game after a family-related breather (money making would come from consulting, not directly from the blog).
But blogging, which by nature involves reading other blogs, has been much more of a learning process for me. Not just about the techniques of blogging…I mean learning from other’s perspectives on the the issues I’m involved in. I advocate life-long learning; I just didn’t realise how much blogging fell into that category. I feel like a sponge, absorbing new info everyday. And learning so much from you, Anastasia.

I don't blog and have never blogged. I guess I don't have the guts! :-) But,like Jim, I like learning things from other people and I have learned a lot by visiting other people's blogs. I have also learned a lot from you! I prefer to spend most of my online time chatting with my close friends and family - as I live and work away from them! Much cheaper than the telephone!

Hmmm...I don't know if blogging is a dream or a nightmare :-) but I can't say I'm crazy about it. I've still got my blog on livejournal and I may go back to it one day.

I blog for fun whenever I feel like it. I am glad I made some great online friends through blogging.

I blog to express myself, to be creative. I like to write and escape from what I do every day (I'm a psychologist) so I quite often talk about topics that aren’t exactly psychology oriented. Blogging helps me to keep connected with so many facets of life that I would otherwise miss.

I blog to make money though I'm not earning much yet. My personal blog is all about fun and networking and a way to express myself and share some of my life. ~ Mark
