April 1st, 2014 will be a day to remember as I am typing right now my 1000th post on TypePad. When I published my first post on September 11, 2004, I had no idea how to blog and I could certainly not imagine that one day I'd publish 1000 posts! Naturally, in ten years or so, this is definitely not a big number, but the truth is that it took me some time to figure out how TypePad really worked and what blogging really was.
In the first couple of years, I'd spend more time visiting other blogs and exploring TypePad Knowledge Base than writing and posting. And when I finally felt confident enough to start posting more often, I wished I had more free time to do so. I've always had a passion for writing. Even before the advent of the Internet in our lives and homes , I kept a diary regularly which I decided to move to TypePad when I signed up with them in September 2004. So my first posts were a kind of diary in which I wrote about my day, my feelings, my pains and pleasures.
I'm well aware that this is only a drop in the ocean compared to the contribution of great bloggers, but I'm glad so many people read my posts today and I feel grateful for your comments. Blogging with TypePad for almost ten years now, has been a wonderful journey and a unique experience.
