What a fantastic cruise and super photos. You both look so happy and relaxed.

The ship looks awesome!!! Glad to see you and Alkis had such a wonderful time on the cruise. Your photos are absolutely gorgeous...can't have enough looking at them. I've been to Rhodes, Kos and Samos and I would like to visit Chios. I had never heard of Leros before. Is it near kos?

Anastasia

Leros isn't far from Kos but it's nearer Kalymnos - another beautiful island of the Dodecanese which I visited 2 summers ago.

Oh là là!!!! This must have been a great cruise. Having read your post, I'd love so much to visit these islands in the Dodecanese. Your photos are worth more than a million words! Thanks for sharing. As for the cruise ship, it looks huge and impressive!

Your amazing photos and account of your holiday in the Dodecanese summarise nicely the unspeakable beauty of every corner in Greece. To me, there's nothing like the pure magic of the Greek islands whether these are the Dodecanese, Ionian, Cyclades, Sporades or inland Greece. This summer, I spent a week in Santorini and had to put up with the blackout from 9:00pm to 2:00 am on 2 consecutive days. It wasn't fun but positive thinking helps and we decided not to leave the island. With more than 200,000 tourists on a small island the blackout wasn't weird. The blackout gave us the chance to contemplate the sunset. In total darkness, it was an amazing sight!

Great pictures, as always! I can't believe summer is almost over.

It's always a pleasure to read about your travels. I love your lively descriptions and great photos.

We travelled on the same boat 2 weeks before you and loved it. We took the cruise of August 3 to Patmos, Mytilini, Chios and Symi. Have you ever been to Symi? I loved it! It's a peaceful, quiet little island. We stayed there from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and had enough time to visit the island and have lunch at a small fish taverna where we enjoyed fresh fish and seafood at a very reasonable price. We also enjoyed sailing with Salamis Filoxenia very much.

Nice to see you had such a wonderful time on the cruise. Thanks for aharing your beautiful photos!

I visited Symi in 2006 while holidaying in Rhrodes. It's only a couple of hours by ferry. I loved the monastery of Panormitis. I was very impressed by the bell-tower and the folk museum of the monastery. We also had time to take a walk along Gialos and enjoy fresh fish and seafood.

As you know, I'm addicted to Sifnos where I spend at least 2 weeks every summer - mostly on my own, but I'm never bored because I've made a lot of good friends there. Indeed, your cruise sounds magical and your photos are amazing! I've been to most of the Dodecanese islands and would like to visit Leros, Psara and Oinouses.
